Ingredients:

  • ½ lb ground beef (Great Value, 80% lean) – $2.00

  • 1 can (15 oz) Great Value refried beans – $0.92

  • ½ cup Great Value shredded cheddar cheese – $0.70

  • 4 Great Value flour tortillas – $1.08

  • ½ cup Great Value salsa – $0.60

  • Seasonings (optional): cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, onion powder – pantry staples


Instructions:

  1. Brown the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned (7–8 minutes). Drain excess fat. Add optional spices if desired.


  2. Warm the Beans: Heat refried beans until soft and spreadable (in microwave or saucepan).


  3. Assemble the Burritos: On each tortilla, spread ¼ of the beans, ¼ of the beef, some salsa, and cheese.


  4. Toast or Bake (Optional):Toast in skillet, seam side down, for 2–3 minutes per side or wrap in foil and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.


  5. To Freeze: Cool burritos, wrap individually in foil or plastic, and freeze. Reheat as needed.
